AMRC helps people from migrant and refugee backgrounds build successful, independent lives in South Australia by offering settlement support, English learning, employment pathways, community engagement, family and youth programs, aged care and disability services, and tailored assistance to navigate everyday life. With culturally responsive services and multilingual staff, AMRC aims to strengthen social inclusion, economic participation and community wellbeing.

Telstra’s Access for Everyone initiative offers a range of low-cost plans, discounted concessions, payment options, free access services, and support programs so that individuals and families who are on low incomes, experiencing hardship, or facing barriers can maintain phone and internet connectivity and access essential services.

Services Include:

- Discounted concession offers on mobile plans and bill credits for eligible customers.

- Complimentary Pre-Paid credit (e.g., six-month recharge with data) for those in need.

- Support to access the Centrelink Telephone Allowance for help with phone and internet costs.

- Flexible ways to pay bills, including Centrepay deductions.

The University of South Australia Tax Clinic provides free, confidential tax advice, representation, education and advocacy to unrepresented taxpayers and small businesses.

Under the supervision of qualified tax professionals, the UniSA Tax Clinic is staffed by students who can support unrepresented taxpayers across a range of tax matters.

If you are an individual or a small business without a tax agent, contact 8302 0100 to arrange an appointment, or submit an enquiry via the online enquiry form.

Appointments are available during teaching terms August to October and March to May between 10.00am - 4.00pm Wednesday - Friday.

Adelaide University Tax Clinic — Free Tax Support for Individuals & Small Businesses

The Adelaide University Tax Clinic offers free, confidential tax assistance to members of the South Australian community who are unrepresented and need help with their tax affairs. Under the supervision of qualified tax professionals, student advisors provide support through an initial consultation, guided by a tax professional, helping individuals and small or micro businesses better understand and manage their tax obligations.

Services Include:

- Tax return preparation (current and past years)

- Advice on deductions

- Amending returns and objecting to assessments

- Responding to ATO correspondence

- ATO dispute resolution (including penalty remission)

- Negotiating payment plans and managing tax debts
